In Our City will be the first of an ongoing presentation series that aims to bring forward information on local issues in climate change, toxicant exposure in the home, and access to non-profit resources within Southern California. Please join us Saturday, September 14, 2019 for our first program, 6:30-7:15pm at the Artisan Work Lab, 12907 Hadley Street, Whittier, CA 90601. Snacks will be provided!
In Our City is brought to you by Acelia Larios and Alejandro Fabian. Acelia graduated in 2016 with a degree in Integrative Biology from UC Berkeley. In 2019 she continued on to UC Davis where she studied Environmental Toxicology and worked with local communities to discuss toxic exposure in their cities.
Alejandro graduated in 2016 from UC Berkeley with a degree in Bioanthropology and continued on to UC Davis where he studied the affects of pollutants in environmental systems.
This program started with the deep desire to create a space where people could come together to discuss the important issues facing our communities. We hope to see you there September 14th!
This is a collaboration between Black Water Rising and Catalyst Network of Communities.
